Tegalalang Rice Terrace

The Tegalalang Rice Terraces in Ubud are a favorite among Indonesian tourists, partly because they lie along the route to Kintamani. The terraces feature a striking 40-degree slope and offer a unique and picturesque view. Visitors often enjoy taking photos and relaxing at one of the local Tegalalang cafes.

Monkey Forest Ubud

The Monkey Forest in Ubud is a must-visit destination, emblematic of Ubud’s charm. This protected forest area is home to the sacred Balinese Hindu temple, Pura Dalem Agung Padangtegal. Visitors are greeted by fresh air and towering green trees right from the parking area.

Ubud Art Market

For Balinese souvenirs, the Sukawati Art Market is a popular choice. The Ubud Art Market gained significant fame from the film Eat, Pray, Love, in which a scene is set there. This exposure, thanks to Julia Roberts, has attracted many tourists to explore and shop at the Ubud Art Market, where you can find unique souvenirs for friends and family.

Bali Zoo Park

Situated in extensive gardens and tropical trees, this zoo is a standout destination for families, especially with children. Located on Jalan Raya Singapadu, Batuan, Sukawati, Gianyar, not far from Ubud, Bali Zoo is one of the island’s largest and most popular zoos. It features a diverse collection of animals, drawing both domestic and international visitors.

Bali Bird Park

Located in Singapadu Village, it is the island’s only bird park and a favorite among tourists. Bird enthusiasts and families alike visit to see and interact with a wide variety of birds. The park features an extensive collection, including a special breeding area for rare species known as “Bali Nursery.” Access to the breeding area is restricted to protect the birds.
